Having dedicated 20 years of my career to delighting clients, I am thrilled to share my story with you.
My career began in corporate communication, where I discovered my talent and passion for planning and managing significant events for large companies, including launches, family days, inaugurations, and more. However, 20 years ago, I realised that confining my skills to a single industry was too limiting for my adventurous spirit. This realisation led me to establish The Event Shop.
On a personal note, my faith, the beauty of creation, and my family inspire me. Recently, my inspiration has been reinvigorated by the arrival of a grandchild, with another on the way! As an extrovert, I thrive on the energy I receive from the incredible people I interact with daily.
Serving others, whether it’s my God, my family, or my clients, brings me the greatest fulfillment. I aspire to serve by inspiring and encouraging others, even in small ways, to become the best versions of themselves.
Over the past 20 years, The Event Shop has faced numerous challenges, but these experiences have taught us the importance of authenticity and agility. We are committed to delivering top-notch service, and my team exemplifies professionalism and adaptability, regardless of the client or event.
I believe an event is a celebration that inspires people, whether they are internal or external stakeholders. We become revitalised, unlock creativity, increase productivity, and enhance happiness. An event provides a level playing field for all, serving as a remarkable platform to energise people.
The greatest reward for me is witnessing my clients celebrate their successes, foster increased camaraderie, spark creativity, or seeing an employee recognised on stage for their positive contributions. How could one not love this?
